Jasneet Sandhu
With over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health, I specialise in supporting young people facing complex emotional challenges including high-risk suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviours. My work has been rooted in NHS CAMHS, where I’ve led clinical teams and provided therapy to individuals and families navigating acute distress and crisis.
As a Clinical Supervisor and Lead, I also support professionals working in high-pressure environments, helping teams maintain ethical, reflective, and effective practice. I provide clinical supervision and reflective practice, support professional development, case formulation, and safe practice in high-risk contexts.
WithIn NHS and private roles I have led service improvement, training, and team-based initiatives. I offer private therapy for children, teenagers, adults and families, using a relational and trauma-informed approach.
My integrative practice draws from CBT, Psychodynamic, and Systemic theories, allowing me to tailor support to each client’s unique needs. I aim to create a safe, reflective space where individuals and families can build emotional resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward healing.
I work with individuals that come to therapy for many reasons, such as:
- Anxiety, depression, and overwhelming emotions
- Self-harm and suicidal feelings
- Friendship or school challenges
- Trauma, loss, and major life transitions
- Eating disorders
- Family conflict or communication difficulties
- Identity, belonging, and self-esteem concerns
- Sexual Abuse and Sexual Difficulties
- Loneliness
- ADHD/ASC coaching
